Small Engine Specialist

About us

Asset Construction Hire are seeking a Small Engine Specialist to join our workshop team. Established in 2011, Asset Construction Hire has grown into a company with over 600 elevated work platforms, plant machinery, and a wide variety of other rental equipment. Primarily, we support the Canberra construction industry and general trades that require working at height. We are an independent and locally owned business based in Fyshwick. We currently have 7 technicians in our workshop ranging from Trade Assistants to Fitters, Diesel Mechanics & Automotive Mechanics, and are looking to add another member to the team. Our workshop team service and repair a large variety of equipment, for example: Scissor Lifts, Excavators, Generators, Air Compressors, Boom Lifts, Wood Chippers, Cars, Trucks & much more.

 Qualifications & experience

• Experience with small petrol engines

• Experience with repairing a diverse range of products

• Test & Tag certificate would be desirable

Tasks & responsibilities

•  Service & maintain our small engine hire products. Ranging from small pumps, to small inverter generators, mowers & more

• Maintain our fleet of smaller equipment, for example our range of Stihl products, including quick cuts & chainsaws

• Maintain a clean & safe work environment
