About the role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Picture Framer to join our team at Hope Tree Framing & Art in Katoomba, NSW. As a casual Picture Framer, you will be responsible for creating custom picture frames and providing exceptional service to our valued customers. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a creative and dynamic environment, utilising your expertise in the art of picture framing.

What you'll be doing

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling custom picture frames using a variety of materials and techniques

• Providing advice and recommendations to customers on frame selection, matting, and design

• Ensuring all framing work is completed to the highest standards of quality and attention to detail

• Maintaining a clean and organised work area to support efficient and safe operations

• Assisting with inventory management and restocking of framing supplies

• Providing excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience for all customers

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in picture framing

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Practical problem-solving abilities and the willingness to learn new techniques

• A keen eye for design and an understanding of art and framing trends

• Proficiency in the use of power tools and framing equipment

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
