Civil Construction pipe layer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction pipe layer to join our team in Brisbane. As a fulltime pipe layer, you will play a critical role in our civil construction projects, ensuring the accurate and efficient installation of pipes and other underground infrastructure. You will be an integral part of our construction crew, working closely with other tradespeople to deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Laying pipes, including water, sewerage and stormwater, according to project plans and specifications
• Working with our highly  excavator operators screeding and preparing for pipe installation and backfilling
• Setting levels and laying pipe work to meet the design criteria.
• Backfilling and compacting trenches to specification
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to the highest standard
• Collaborating with other construction crew members to coordinate tasks and meet project timelines

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a pipe layer in civil construction sector
• Strong understanding of pipe installation techniques and quality standards
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications
• Proficient in the use of pipe laying tools and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant construction qualifications or certifications
