Position Summary: Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Factory & Office Cleaner to join our team at Parratech’s Kings Park facility. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all areas of the site are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene to support a safe, professional, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitise staff amenities including toilets, showers and lunchrooms.

• Empty, clean, and replace rubbish bins throughout the facility.

• Maintain cleanliness of external areas including the building surrounds, walkways,  and loading docks.

• Conduct regular cleaning of the carpark area, removing litter and debris.

• Clean and maintain the designated staff smoking area.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust internal floor and surface areas including offices, corridors, and meeting rooms as required.

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the production and warehouse zones, ensuring floors are free of hazards.

• Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper, hand towels, and sanitiser.

• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Facilities Manager or Factory Manager promptly.

• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

• Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure consistency and compliance.

• Comply with WHS regulations and Parratech’s safety procedures at all times.

Essential:

• Previous experience in industrial, commercial, or facilities cleaning.

• Good physical fitness and ability to undertake manual tasks.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• High attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.

• Strong time management and organisational skills.

• Good communication skills.

Work Environment:

• This role requires standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.

• Exposure to outdoor conditions in the course of external cleaning duties.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
