We are seeking a skilled and qualified plumber with expertise in maintenance and/or residential (new build) projects. The role involves performing a wide range of plumbing tasks, including maintenance, drainage, new residential home including internal & external drainage, rough in and fit off.
Essential Qualifications, Licences and Experience
TAFE Certificate III & Contractor Certification.
Experience in maintenance plumbing and problem solving or experience in residential new builds.
NSW WorkCover Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Current Class C Driver’s License.
Role Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Execute new build plumbing systems (Internal Drainage, External Drainage, Rough in, Fit Off).
Execute maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing systems
Install and maintain new plumbing systems and fixtures as required.
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine the most effective solutions.
Ability to carry out all plumbing works without site supervision
Competently carry out daily plumbing works with an apprentice and be able to direct the apprentice and contribute to their growth as a tradesman
Read and interpret residential home plans.
Liaise with Builders, Project Managers and Site Supervisors where required.
Manage quality control.
Team Work and Customer Service Skills
Ability to consult, share information and work collaboratively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to demonstrate customer service values
Ability to listen and take direction from supervisor
Technical Skills
Demonstrated effective time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to balance competing workloads and deliver within deadlines
Please note: Experience in both maintenance and new builds is not essential. Please note in application which aspect of plumbing you have the experience in.
