The Role:
FIFO Heavy Diesel Fitter
Are you an independent, experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter and holds great problem-solving skills, while enjoying a challenge?
Then RHT Contracting is looking for you to support our Goldfields projects!
This FIFO role requires a high level of flexibility, with the ability to adapt to the demand of the site support where it is needed, ensuring that the business's mobile machinery maintenance and breakdown repairs are completed with minimal impact on the operations.
Among some of the responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Carry out all preventative and breakdown maintenance repairs Safely. Complete services report as instructed.
Perform and adhere to Company and Site Safety Policies and Procedures.
Always conduct your work in a Safe & efficient manner.
Maintain a New & Low houred Fleet.
Requirements:
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate and/or Degree.
Dual trade (auto electrician/HD Fitter) advantageous.
Aircon Ticket advantageous.
Excellent diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills.
Current & Valid WA Drivers Licence (HR preferred, not essential).
Hold a Construction Induction certificate (White Card).
Excellent Safety, work ethic and communication skills.
Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical; along with completing onsite routine drug and alcohol screenings.
Current National Police Certificate (NPC) or the ability to obtain one.
About You:
You will have a focus on Safety, hold a strong work ethic and have a can-do attitude.
You will be great at establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with RHT Contracting and relevant vendors.
You will be flexible and positive, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
You will be required to be clean shaven in alliance with the RHT Clean Shaven Policy.
