About Us

Baillie Hill is Perth’s newest hospitality precinct, now open in East Victoria Park. With restaurants, bars, landscaped gardens, and community spaces, Baillie Hill is a vibrant destination for food, entertainment, and local connection.

We’re seeking a reliable and hands-on Groundskeeper / Stable Hand to join our operations team. This role focuses on grounds maintenance, garden care, and daily animal care within our on-site stables.

The Role

This is a varied, outdoor role suited to someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in presentation. You’ll help maintain the precinct’s outdoor areas while supporting the care and wellbeing of our animals.

Key Responsibilities

• Groundskeeping, gardening, and landscape maintenance

• Lawn care, watering, pruning, fertilising, and plant care

• Cleaning, feeding, and daily care of animals in the stables

• Monitoring animal health and reporting concerns

• Safe operation of gardening and maintenance equipment

• General outdoor maintenance, deliveries, and minor repairs

• Maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and presentation

About You

• Experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, or landscaping

• Comfortable working with animals and routine animal care

• Physically fit and happy working outdoors

• Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious

• Understanding of OHS and manual handling practices

• Friendly, professional, and detail-oriented

• Full Australian working rights

• Horticulture or animal-handling qualifications highly regarded
