Automotive Technician/ Motor Mechanic

Joining our team of high-performing, successful Technicians, you will report directly to the Service Manager. On top of vehicle and service maintenance such as diagnosis and repairs, the successful applicant will develop additional skills to help them throughout their career.

Task & responsibilities

What the role entails:

-General servicing and maintenance of vehicles of every make and model on the road.

-Planning each job for maximum efficiency

-Repairing and maintaining in line with manufacturer requirements

-Identifying and repairing technical issues

-Identifying and recommending additional work as required

-Ordering parts (where necessary) from our supply chain; and

-Complete necessary paperwork including job cards and safety inspection sheets

-Keep up to date with new technologies and tooling through our extensive network of suppliers and training organisations

-Completing quality and timely work to meet customer needs as per Repair Order instructions

Qualification & experience

What you need to be successful:

-Valid Australian Work Rights

-Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent, or relevant experience.

Minimum of 3 years related experience

-Valid Australian Manual Driver Licence (or equivalent)

-Display an exceptional quality of workmanship, reliability and efficiency

-Great attention to detail

-Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills

-A positive “can do” attitude

-Ability to work in a team environment

-Ability to listen carefully and follow direction
