About Us:
Larvotto Resources (LVR) is developing the Hillgrove Antimony and Gold Project and is seeking skilled and motivated Mechanical Maintainers - Process (Fixed) Plant to support our team and community in Armidale, NSW. Hillgrove is located 23km east of Armidale which is considered a well-serviced regional city surrounded by natural beauty. It is centrally located between Brisbane and Sydney and is only a short drive to the popular Coffs Coast.
About the Role
As the Mechanical Maintainer - Process (Fixed) Plant, reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor (Process Plant), you will be responsible for carrying out the preventive, reactive and planned maintenance tasks to support the process plant and surface infrastructure.
This permanent opportunity is available on 8 days on/6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 nights off (8/6, 7/7) Roster.
This is a Residential role, relocation assistance will also be provided to Armidale, NSW.
Key Responsibilities and experience will include:
Partnering with trades and production teams to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed on time and in full.
Preparing for plant shutdowns and project related works.
Assist in the Management spare parts availability.
Ensure product quality and system compliance across all maintenance activities.
Work alongside the Maintenance Planner, Operations Leaders, Contractors, and Electrical teams.
Deliver hands-on maintenance: preventative maintenance, fitting & machining, general welding, troubleshooting, RCA, repairs and breakdown support.
Working on all aspects of Crushers, Mills, Pumps, Hydraulics and Pneumatics
Qualifications and Experience:
Formal Mechanical Trade or Engineering Qualification
Forklift Licence
First Aid Certificate/CPR Qualification (highly desirable).
2+ years experience working in a fixed plant mechanical role
Strong knowledge of Maintenance Workflows, Statutory servicing intervals and OEM requirements
Ability to use Microsoft Office and CMMS Database
Other Requirements:
Valid manual driver’s license (required).
Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
Must be able to provide a valid National Police Clearance (NPC) - Less than 6months old
Ability to complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening, and comply with ongoing testing during employment.
