Queensland. This role is suited to someone who is confident handling servicing and repair work independently while maintaining attention to detail. The role requires assessing vehicle issues, identifying appropriate repair solutions, and completing work efficiently to keep up with workshop demand. You will work as part of a team to maintain productivity, ensure vehicles are returned in safe operating condition, and support overall workshop performance. <h3>Benefits</h3>• Competitive salary package in line with industry standards• Supportive and professional workshop environment•&nbsp;Opportunity to work within a well-established and reputable automotive service network• Ongoing training and skill development• Stable, full-time employment with consistent workflow <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="text-align:justify;">Inspect vehicles and utilise diagnostic procedures to identify faults and determine appropriate repair or maintenance requirements.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Carry out servicing, repairs, and adjustments to vehicle systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and workshop standards.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Perform routine maintenance activities, including oil changes, fluid checks, and general servicing to maintain vehicle performance and reliability.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Identify faults, determine suitable repair methods, and undertake repairs or component replacements to restore vehicles to safe and efficient operating condition.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Remove, refit, and replace mechanical components, ensuring correct assembly, alignment, and functionality.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Conduct post-service testing and inspections to verify performance and ensure all issues have been rectified.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Perform tyre-related services, including tyre fitting, balancing, rotation, puncture repairs, and wheel alignment to ensure safe handling and even tyre wear.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Carry out brake, steering, and suspension inspections and servicing to maintain vehicle safety and roadworthiness.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Undertake logbook servicing and vehicle safety checks in line with manufacturer and regulatory requirements.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Inspect and replace automotive components such as batteries and related systems as required.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Maintain accurate service records, document work performed, and follow workplace procedures and compliance requirements.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety standards and maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.&nbsp;</li></ul> <h3>Qualification & experience</h3>• Certificate IV in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification• At least 1 year of relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills• Ability to perform servicing, maintenance, and repair work in accordance with industry standards• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team• Commitment to workplace health and safety practices• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet job deadlines• Experience using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment is desirable&nbsp;How to ApplyPlease submit your resume along with a brief cover letter outlining your relevant qualifications and work experience.
